General Guidelines for Traders

In order that our markets operate as efficiently as possible, we have put together some guidelines which we hope will assist everyone working with us.

  • All traders must carry their own Public Liability Insurance and a copy of same should be given to Irish Village Markets with each application.
  • Rent is payable a week in advance with the first instalment due before date of commencement. Cheques should be made payable to Irish Village Markets
  • Each trader should provide their own cover (gazebo or parasol) and necessary equipment for displaying produce.
  • Traders involved in the handling of food must comply with EHO standards.
  • Traders should arrive in plenty of time to set up their stall.
  • Hand washing and toilet facilities are available on site.
  • All waste generated by each stall must be removed at the end of each day.
  • For insurance purposes vehicles will not be permitted to move on any market site during trading hours
  • Please be sensitive with surroundings when trading on lawns, river banks etc
